. In liaison with the CEO and Directors, develop and implement annual sales targets, budget and strategies that further the department’s agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation. . Propose to the CEO for approval the sales budget and in liaison with finance and departmental heads oversee implementation and utilisation of the sales department budget. . Lead and oversee attainment and surpassing of the agreed overall company sales target through renewals of existing businesses and acquisition of new clients. . Set individual sales targets and KPI’s for the sales team and sign off the agreed sales target with each individual. . Act as the link between sales and production to ensure orders from client are executed to the required specifications, quality, and delivery timelines. . Liaise with the dispatch team to ensure the expectations of the client are met, address any issues for timely delivery of goods. . Develop and manage sustainable relationships with clients to drive, grow and sustain the client portfolio. . Conduct market research to review market trends, market direction, market feedback with a view to making recommendations on business growth opportunities. . Monitor debtors to ensure that outstanding debt is paid to the company in good time.
