Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

 Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Education (Bachelor’s degree is Desirable
• CBC Trained
• Registered with TSC
• At least 3 years experience as a classroom teacher.
• Subject preference is Mathematics and English
• Experience in teaching at least 3 subject areas.
• High energy levels
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Problem- solving skills
• Critical Thinking
• Flexibility and adaptability

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching tasks
• Teaches the current national subject curriculum
• Prepares lesson notes
• Organizes and prepares learning tools and materials
• Facilitates group work, assignments and projects
• Assesses and marks pupils’ assignments
• Conducts, assesses and marks tests and exams
• Prepares register, diary and record card
• Engages in interclass activities, projects, quizzes, etc.
Extra-curricular activities
• Engages in sports, excursions, etc.
• Participates in social activities in the community as appropriate
• Engages in debates, media events, community learning programs, etc.
